yoga under the sky
back to classes

In honour of the summer warmth and the sheer pleasure of just 'being' outside, join us in a group practice on the grass at Murray Hill Park.

Feel the grass beneath your feet, the sound of the breeze in the trees and the expanse of the open sky above!! Renew your practice in this green urban oasis and enjoy a breath of fresh air!! We will come together to practice yoga outside– movement, breathing, meditation and relaxation.

This will be an opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones.

Registration is not necessary. This outside practice is free of charge. Bring friends and loved ones if you would like!

The class will be held in Murray Hill Park (Parc King George) in Westmount. We will gather in the south field (on the side of the hill, the same side as the children's playground). Please bring your own yoga mat or blanket, and dress warmly should it be chilly. See the weather note below.

Yoga Under the Sky is open to everyone, including both beginners and experienced yogis. The practice is not, however, recommended if you have any acute injuries or specific health conditions. If you are pregnant and would like to attend the practice, please contact Clearlight in advance.

IMPORTANT - WEATHER INFO
***
If the ground is soaking wet or it is raining, the class will be cancelled. Unfortunately, this year there will not be a rain date scheduled (so let's cross our fingers). If you are not sure whether the class is cancelled or not, please call (514) 933-8671 in the morning after 7 AM. The greeting of the voice mail will confirm whether class will be held or cancelled due to weather.***
